Doug Levin

Doug Levin has over 30 years of successful experience as a business leader, technologist, board member and investor. He is best known as the sole founder and first CEO of Black Duck Software (acquired by Synopsys in 2017). Today he serves as Executive Chairman of FiVerity (Digital Fraud Detection), on the Board of Directors of DJ MicroLaminates (advanced materials) and the cybersecurity firm ReversingLabs, and Executive-in-Residence at the Harvard Business School where he teaches the “Startup Academy” executive education class. His career started at Microsoft Corporation. He has an advanced degree in International Economics from the Collège d’Europe in Bruges, Belgium, a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and additional business and computer science coursework from Columbia University and MIT.
